EBay Officially Rejects Microsofts Passport

Major technology, rejected by an important client... It would seem that Microsoft's world domination policies are officially defunct.

You're not a big fan of Microsoft, are you Lennon. It's getting a bit obvious mate.

Microsoft has been cutting back on Passport support for nearly a year now. It is no big shock that their few buisness partners are going to begin droping the service, because in the not-to-distant future it's likely that passport will no longer support the features that they use. The identity management functions of Passport are supposed to be supplanted by new features in the Longhorn OS, with Passport becoming not much more then a tool for various microsoft sites and services (Hotmail, MSN messenger, etc.).

Well, I won't be shedding any tears. I read their passport privacy policy once!
