How to restart a romance? I have a really old computer that gives my programs an endless series of defects and it's messed up my good times with Aerie. I know I've seen the code somewhere but I jst can't find the website.
thanks, Jade |

You can find the instruction for using the console on the main site - button in the top left.
To restart the romance Id guess youd need to set your LOVETALK vaible to 0, the ROMANCEACTIVE to 1 and the other variable is a timer so itll settle down by itself.

How do I set the ROMANCEACTIVE to 1? The full code I had in was:
CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("AerieRomanceActive","Global") then it would tell me it was set at 3 but when I tried something like etc."Active=1" it wouldn't work. What is the exact code I should put in? |

Some days I get upset that they chose to implement the console using a full programming language that nobody knows. Makes it far to complicated to those of us used to an ID console. Id guess you need to use setglobal instead of getglobal. Which would make the full syntax something along the lines of
CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("AerieRomanceActive","Global",1); Im sorry I cant be more specific, but ive never actualy done this. The variable has 3 possible values, I think 1 is the not-started value. Glorfindel is right though, Shadowkeeper(cool cheat program that edits your save-games) is an easier way to do this. Unfortuantly its not out on Mac, so if your on Mac your stuck.
