I once dreamed that my kittens were killed by our truck, the next morning 2 were killed when my dad started it, will not go into details on that though

so yeah I belive that sometimes you can recive messages in them

I don't believe dreams carry messages. I think they're just your brain sorting out various events but with animation. They encompass everything from good times you had in the past to fears you have for the future - which is why when someone says to me "well, this and this dream came true... " I just say "yeah, that was a correct prediction your mind made, not a message from some sentient being." I do believe they represent certain things sometimes though, and can be seen as metaphors or parallels to what you're going through or have been through in the past. I'm a spiritual person, but dreams can be rationalized fairly easily in my book.
