For six months now in a consistent fashion i have read the nro online.
Here are some observations i have noticed about five of their writers for good and ill: Victor Davis Hanson has written the same speech forty times, he just shuffles the words around a bit and gives it a new title each week. Jonah Goldberg, i laughed pretty hard when a holy roller wrote into the corner about his loose ways of drinking and such, the cad. Larry Kudlow on their business articles has some good points to make. David Frum, sometimes you can read some smart points but in the next sentence a genome enhanced super islamic soldier has just conquered Tokyo and is aiming its death missile at the west coast. Kathryn Jean Lopez is trying to sell me books. |

What I hate is when some folks (noA naTmesT meAntionedLUS) post NRO articles without warning that it's from the NRO, so I click and get sucked into the maelstrom of uninformed bile and blind bias that is the NRO. I find myself 30 minutes later, seething, just looking for some conservative to whoop up on. [img]graemlins/fight.gif[/img]
