Hey gang. I remember some time ago hearing about a program that lets you create weapons/ armour for yourself. Where can I get it? And before I get blasted for "cheating" let me say that I have already finished the game. I just want to make an interesting weapon for my character. Everyone else goes "this is my ancestral sword, handed down through 10 generations, forged from the metal found in a meteor and enchanted by the greatest mages of all time."
My character goes "hey this is the 'Slashmaster 2000', the best sword ever! Sure I had to save every coin for a year, but I could finally afford one! What? You have one too? With the optional limited-edition super-scabbard? Oh..."
I just think it would be cool to have a nice (balanced) weapon of my own. Anyone know about this??

Thanks. I just took a look at the site and it seems like it might be a pretty complex thing to do. I was hoping it would be a straight-forward plug-in-the-attributes-you-want type of thing.

Well there are tutorials... and once you get the hang of it.. it's a nice lil thing...

I would recommend you also get the Infinity Engine Explorer or something like that to at least help you with how the stuff works...

it actually is a straight-forward plug-in-the-attributes-you-want program. there are simply so many attributes available that the editor is inherently complex. you need WinBiff, too, so you can see how other items are done, and copy their effects to your own. I have done a bit of editing and always found the interface easy to use and not so horrible that it is discouraging.

Start off simple, and move your way up. don't make any brand-new items until you have edited a couple to see what the effect is.

Edit: badd spelign
