druid-armor question

I have obtained some very nice studded-leather armor ...
But my (avenger) druid doesnt seem to be able to wear it ..
It says in the description only mages and thieves cant wear it,
so why me ??!!!

I know druids can only wear leather armor and less, but doesnt studded leather count as leather, i mean, its still leather right ?

How strong is your avenger? Does he have the minimum strength required to wear studded leather?

Click on the Kit Description button on your Record screen - I'm not sure if avengers have additional restrictions (eg because they can cast mage spells).

Well, his strength is 22 now .. unaltered its 11 .. minimun required strenght is 6, so that's not the problem.

I believe shade-dragon armor is studded leather too, and that's what he's wearing now, so it shouldnt be a problem if you ask me ...
Here are his weaknesses:

Weaknesses

-At character creation, -2 penalty to Strength and Constitution
-Must be Neutral alignment
-Can only wear Leather Armor and use Bucklers
-Can only wield Scimitars, Clubs, Darts, Spears, Daggers, Slings,
and Staves
-Can only get one proficiency (+) per weapon

Im guessing you have to take leather armor literally, but that's not what i wanna hear
Both the armor i want and the shade-dragon armor are AC 1, and the studded leather armor i want is +6 !!
So what ever armor-type the shade-dragon's is, its definetly studded leather ( i doubt its leather armor + 8 or something).

Ah well, guess i'll just CLUAConsole in normal and studded leather armor and see if i can wear both [img]smile.gif[/img]

EDIT: it says that the studded leather armor is not usable by
Mages and Monks, nothing about druids

if you're talking about the REALLY nice, acid-resitant stuff i think you're talking about, it is a confirmed error. go to Baldurdash and download the patch. it is hardcoded as Studded Leather +6, even though it is purely natural and has no metal pieces added (except shards of your swords, of course )
