help again, lost slayer ability

Weird. I have the slayer ability in a character from an earlier saved game I exported. But now that I am much farther along, I had to import from my exported character after I lost some magic items I needed. So I'm going along, and I noticed that my slayer ability is gone from my special abilities menu. Everything else is there right back to larloch's minor drain, but Slayer thing is gone, even after I rest, is there any way I can get it back? I've tried re-loading and reexporting and reimporting, etc. But for whatever reason when I import from a saved game or a character export file, the ability isn't there, even though it should.

I guess maybe I could use SK? Don't want to unless I have to though, any ideas?

You could use SK or CLUA to get it back... but unfortunately that does mean you cheated :\... other from that Im not sure what you could do.

The same happened to me, when i reached the end of throne of bhaal with my sorcerer playing at the good side i was hoping to import my character in shadows of amn and play in the evil side with the help of the slayer but i just couldn't.

In my case i think that that is understandable but in yours is a bit strange.

Yeah, I tried to use SK, but that didn't even seem to work, maybe I did it wrong but when I loaded game up, slayer was not there. Must be some anti-thing the programmers put in or else a bug? Any other ideas guys?

so, your char had Slayer ability but not Bhaalspawn abilities when exported, but when imported, you had Bhaalspawn abilities but not the Slayer ability. This makes sense... unless you have already been to spellhold the second time around. Have you gone through spellhold twice?

By Bhaalspawn are you meaning the abilities that you get in BG 1? For a lawful evil wizard they were larloch's minor drain, cure light wounds, draw holy might, and something else. I've always had those throughout the whole thing, and still do. It's the slayer change that is suddenly missing, when I import. I've only been to spellhold once, that I can remember. I am about to go to beat up Bhodi now at end of Ch. 6. Now it is gone, but with the other inate abilities still there. Any ideas guys? It is still gone. Thanks
