you are talking about cheap club dances with rookie Djs, or the ones played on radio (which is ridiculously distasteful)

now, come to name a few good ones (most of them are traditional-styled DJ, soft melody)

Paul Oakenfold
Dj Matrix
Dj Mystic
Dj Tiesto (this dude is new)
Dj Stigma (is so-so)
Dj Paul van dyk
and the best of all traditional DJs: System F (get his song Out of the Blue, this is one heck famous mix)
