What would you do?

I've hit the experience cap. I play on a Mac, and Throne of Bhaal ain't out yet, to my knowledge. Should I:

1)Keep playing with cap in place
2)Remove the cap and continue
3)Wait for TOB and buy Icewind Dale in the meantime?
4)Start over with a new character
5)Stop playing games and write my dissertation

Install ToB.
If you don't have it start a new character preferably opposite alignment of your last one and try to run something different.
That is just my oppinion though...

I decided to start over and try a different character type. I was a swashbuckler mage. I decided to try a blade and was thinking along the lines of soloing. I realized that it would be TOUGH with a bard. Basically I had chosen a character that was similar to my swash/mage, only considerably weaker, fewer spells, worse at pick pockets, can't deal with traps, worse in combat even, so I abandoned that idea. Opted for an elven stalker. Rolled 94 total points, my best ever, and along with the 94 total, my strength was 18/97!!!! How lucky was that?

Strength 18/97
Dex 19
Const 17
Int 9
Wisdom 18
Char 13

The only difference is that Lewzbel rolled these stats legitimately....

anywho...my vote wouldve been to start about 4 more new characters, THEN go get IWD [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well, so far I'm happy with the stalker. It's funny though, he'll hide in shadows, backstab the toughest opponent, and then basically get pummelled by the rest of the enemies. Reminds me of an incident I was involved in at a high school football game, but with fists, not +1 longswords. I wasn't the backstabber. Anyway, we've recruited Minsc's help for the early going.
