*spoiler alert*
. . . . . . . . I opened up the last seal in AR 3019, that's the final guardians. However after the battle start for around 2-3 sec, it kicks me to desktop and pop up an error message... "Assertion failed in ChDataType.cpp at line number 250" Is there any solution? I'm using WinXP... if that does matter... |

these assertion errors drove me insane - they really appeared from nowhere and then just got worse. i tried everything. what i advise is re-installing the game - and if you're running on win98, make sure you haven't got more than 512 megs of ram - it was this that caused the problems in baldurs gate for me. I reduced the ram windows used in msconfig and now it seems to run fine. good luck!
