My old friend, the migraine headache, caught up with me today. About 1pm, I decided to take a nap, and hopefully outlast him.
Bastard outlasted me, he's still here.... ah well... ------------------ The RudeDawg Known in these Forgotten Realms as Perin LightEyes and my girlfriends, Pamila and Pfil |

Hi, RudeDawg! You shouldn't be gazing at a computer screen if you have a migraine! Put your shades on!

Oh, Rudi, so sorry. Get those myself. I take a med everyday to "head them off at the pass" has been a miracle cure for me. Got for a while where I couldn't go to work. I'll tell you what it is if you're interested. Works for me!

I've had them all my life, the seem to be the "afftereffects" of my childhood probelms which led to the paralysis.
Reeka, what is the med? I try not to get dependant on meds, for a while I was a walking pharmacy. Seem to be better now... ------------------ The RudeDawg Known in these Forgotten Realms as Perin LightEyes and my girlfriends, Pamila and Pfil |

Rudi: It's called atenolol. I take the very minimum dosage everyday, but after about 2 weeks on it, my migraines stopped and I haven't had one for a year and a half. It's a prophylatic though, you have to take it everyday. It keeps them from ever starting but won't stop one once it starts. If yours are infrequent you may not want to go that route, but I was having them daily and the pain killers made me too drunk to go to work. I had to find an alternative.

Thanks for the info, Reeka...
I need to go in for my annual exam (That's yearly, folks, not prostate) soon, so I'll bring it up. Good news, Reeka, I found my first draft to the next part of the story. I'll polish it up, edit it, and post within the next 2 hrs (RL permitting) Thanks for the encouragement to keep the story going. ------------------ The RudeDawg Known in these Forgotten Realms as Perin LightEyes and my girlfriends, Pamila and Pfil |
