I have to get this off my chest!
I am getting ready to go and sit my exam. Bf (who has day off work to revise for his exam tomorrow) comes into the study and says, "There's no picture on the TV". I say, "dial 150 and report it as a fault" (we have cable). He goes downstairs. A few minutes later, he reappears and says "I got a long recorded message telling me that there was a fault in the N4 area" (ie. not here). I said, getting slightly exasperated now, "did you report our fault?"; "no" he replies, "the message was too long and I had already pressed a lot of buttons on the phone." I say, "well I'll come and do it if you can't manage it yourself". "No, I'll do it then," he says crossly, and disappears again. A few minutes later he reappears and says, "I need to unplug the decoder, where is the plug?" (I am gnashing my teeth by this point, there are 4 power sockets to choose from.) I tell him to find where the power cable comes out of the back of the decoder and follow it back to the plug. Then unplug it. "Oh, I'll just unplug everything then," is his final statement, but he says it as if I am being unreasonable!! Would anyone else be slightly irritated by this? Am I being unfair? No Epona, you're not being unreasonable . And even if you would have been, you're allowed to the day before your exam!
I'm sure he's a great person if you deem him worthy of your love but he shouldn't bother you with that sort of thing right now. So tell him to stop bothering you and make you a nice cup of tea instead ------------------ Melusine, Archbabe of the Order of the Holy Flame and the Laughing Hyenas, & Official Entertainer Elf of the BG2 Bar Your voice is ambrosia |

Yes, I do think I'd find it annoying! Did you finally get it fixed? And more importantly, how did the exam go?!!! Cloudy ------------------ Raindancer of the Laughing Hyenas Clan Storm-Queen StormCloud of the Black Knight Heart Mind Soul Forever |

Is this a boyfriend, husband...? I find I have very little tolerance for people like that. If you bring me a problem - you had better bring me a solution with it. People that can't think for themselves and need me to do everything for them get me extremely frustrated.
Like caleb said though, he probably just needed some attention. It is just a bad way to go about getting it. I am sure he must be a good guy in general though to be with someone like you. ------------------ "The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his." -General George Patton (1885-1945) |
