Sgt Rubble

This is my first post so please accept my apologises if this has been raised before. I have loaded Flames latest version 4 and when we meet Sgt Rubble in Mt Gigas training for the second training session for the rocket launcher, he goes through the dialog for the first training session and then it crashes.

Any ideas? So far the T'rang method is OK but it's a bit of a drag not acting for the Umpani as well.

I should add that my cd is version 1.2.4

Wow, played 4 games with Flames mod to that point now and have not experienced that.

I agree with bladedog.

I played Flames mod 3 times and I never hat such an experience. So maybe you "only" had bad luck ?

Sorry but I've no other idea.

One think I've discovered mith mods : always save before talking, using a portal or change a map.

I don't remember exactly, but there was some discussion of a problem with Rubble a while ago. I never had one, in the original, Flame's, or Deathie's, but i seem to recall it was associated with releasing one or both of the RPC's there...
Or was it that you didn't go back and talk with Balbrak first???

I found this bug listed on Samurai Jack's:

If you give the pass card to Rubble to initiate the conversation with him outside the Training Facility for your first Umpani quest, the game will crash later when you speak with him inside the mountain.

There's no workaround if you already clicked the card on him, so you'll just have to forget the rest of the Umpani missions unless you can find a way to keep the game from crashing (i.e., try giving him another item to initiate a dialogue, including the Umpani pass, or some other method).
