Been playing MW for awhile, and have a lot of save games (save early, save often is my motto). But now I'd like to get rid of a lot of the older saves since I don't need 'em. Is there an easy way to delete old save games? There's no option for this in the menu (unless I missed it somewhere). Thanks.

I can't remember if there is an option to delete old files in the game, but you could always manually delete the files by going into the Save folder (or whatever they call the folder with all of your saves in it).
Hope that helps.

i believe that if you start up the launcher than go into the "data files" option, from there you should be able to delete your saved games.

Well, I gave that a try, TD. Unfortunately, while the Data Files option listed all the save games, there wasn't any way to delete them from there. So I ended up doing it the hard way after all. Thanks anyway, though.

I had some problems understanding the way Morrowind deals with savegames. It seemed as though the game wasn't updating the savegame name each time, after each save, retaining the initial save game name only.
I'd been playing the GOTY version+Tribunal for some time before a friend loaned me Bloodmoon, for which I did a complete re-installation of everything. I copied my savegames in the 'saves' directory, but they weren't appearing by name as the latest saves I had. I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best and thankfully the transition was smooth enough. In the end, I just manually deleted out of date saves, once I was sure I had the right one. ![]()

Wow. In that case, Cerebro, I must be lucky. I installed the full GOTY (which came with both add-ins) and so far, nothing weird has happened with the save games. Aside, of course, from there being no in-game delete function
