I just got the game for Christmas and I went to try it out, and I can't do 32 true color (only 24) and the game won't launch. Is this a problem with my moniter, or a driver? And if it's a driver, what do I do to fix it?

It's your Driver. Morrowind runs on 32 true colour. maybe you need to buy a new graphic card.

Yup, you need at least 32-bit true color. Some games actually won't run if you're running more than their optimal video requirements, I don't know if this is the case for Morrowind though.
