*spoilers ahead*
I'm currently in mission7 of the Night Elf and Illidan and his gang are working on some kind of creepy ritual, using the eye. Unfortunately, every attempt of my side to interrupt this ritual has failed. This is what I've attempted so far: 1- Rescue the Paladin with a small team, while using the rest of my forces to defend the base. Strenghten my defences and researching every thinkable armor and damage upgrade in the meanwhile. 2-Create two strike forces. One consisting of The Warden, our Archdruid and the Paladin, along with around 6 to 7 Giants (Team A). The other consisting of around 6 to 8 Chims (nasty two headed semi-dragons)(Team B). 3-Use team 1 to clean out the first defences. I can do so without losing any units. By the time I am done with that, I have around 5 minutes left on the clock. Next, I use team A to draw the enemy fire while team B (the Chims) take on the Naga's working on the ritual (only their lightning seems to be effective here). Unfortunately, the B group still takes far too much fire. And usually gets eliminated after taking out two or three of the Naga's (out of four: frustating!) What am I doing wrong here? |

Well, I just built up a force of archers, huntress's - and those bastillas - I never went for the paladins - good ol' fashioned swarm tactics. I just mass built/mass charged, and set the rally points for their base as I took ground... *shrugs* worked for me. Good luck anyway

Then perhaps I'll just reload the level and focus on building a massive strikeforce. Thanks Calaethis.

Keep building chims continously and send them in groups of 4+ to attack a single naga. After a couple of attempts, you should wipe them out.

Actually, I managed to beat the mission by using my original tactic with twice as many chims. But thanks for the advice
The next mission is incredibly irritating, btw. I hate having to play with two teams at the same time. Is the next campaign a bit better? |

The Blood Elf campaign rocks!!! It's my favourite campaign so far.
