I have been thinking about running an all ninja party just to see how it goes. I figure I would have 4 guys working weapons with slings in their backup to work throws. I need a list of what weapon types have good ninja weapons. I know mace and flail have the nunchuka, so thats a no brainer. Aren't sai dagger skill, and I think there are a couple swords for ninjas? Any good polearms or missile weapons ninjas can use. I already figure 2 will be working alchemy hard, both for money and the skills. I am really looking forward to playing these guys, so I am kinda rushing my first party through to the end to see what I have to look forward to.
The next question kinda relates. I wanna change the atatck sounds so my ninjas make waaa, hyaa, toongah, and quah noises when they attack. Is there any way to do that? Thanks in advance!

WRT weapons, Ninjas can use a few of the goodies:

Mace & Flail - The Mauler, Vampire Chain; but not Diamond Eyes
Polearm - Naginata, Dread Spear, Spear of Death
Staff - Staff of Doom, Cane of Corpus (Faerie only)
Sword - *Light**Sword*, Bushido Blade, Katana and Wakizashi (plain and Enchanted)
Bow - Strong Bow, Great Bow, Demonsting

And probably others I can't check right now. Regarding slings: remember that slings are OK for building up the Throwing & Sling skill, but they don't participate in the Ninja's Thrown Critical ability; to get the Ninja's Thrown Criticals, you have to actually throw stuff: darts, shuriken, etc. I'm not sure about the thrown Auto-Penetrate ability; as a WAG, it would also only work for thrown items.

About ninjas and crit ability: I found that just using a sling raised my ninjas critical hit, even though he didn't actually get any crits with it. The better damage and high knock out rate of the wrist rocket took my ninja up to 100 throw, 100 critical hit and 100 range in no time. It was crazy. I bought all the thrown weapons I could and just saved them up. Now he uses the hayai bo with whatever throw in the secondary slot. He basically tears all kinds of shizzle up. Another odd thing is I found the ninja still gets critical hits with his staff, even though it doesn't have any critical hit percentage on the weapon.

if you have the time, train your stealth skill up to 100 before doing anything, then you'll notice a big difference in your game.

Yup; still counts as "using" the skill.

Why "odd"? Like the manual says, "able to critically kill opponents with deadly weapons or his bare hands." Plus, the Ninja's class bonus is Critical Strike.

Also: for the Ninja(s) that you want to be two-fisted throwers, be sure to build up Dual Weapons.
