Hi, this is my first post on these forums so hello again.

An old friend of mine who posts here regularly saw a review I wrote of Larian studios new 2D CRPG *Divine Divinity* over at the Black Isle Studios message boards, on their "General RPG" forum. He asked me to mention it here, as he thought a few of you guys might be interested.

I got the game on Friday, and as somebody who has enjoyed CRPG's for a long time (and who has gotten jaded with some of this years big releases) I can honestly say that I haven't been this happy and addicted to a game since the early Ultimas or the first BG. It really is very, very good and my buddy said a lot of people weren't hearing about it.

So I thought I'd post a link. I've put up an initial review and subsequent musings aboout the game. Given the scale and ambition of this pleasingly traditional CRPG I think that a lot of you here might enjoy it.

You can download a trailer here: www.divinedivinity.com (beware, it doesn't run at the highest resolution on the demo, which is a shame cos it looks great)

My review and subsequent discussion of same can be found here.

Thanks for your time, see you all again soon.

Cheers
MC

My my, it's monte! You're the same person who once moderated at BGDungeon and was my DM for a while at the Centrum, right? Good to see you again! How's life?
And I'll play the trailer of Divine Divinity as soon as I've got my new computer, which should arrive in a few days.

Thanks, I'll make certain to check it out. But do you have any information on the resources needed for this game? Maybe I'm still able to play it on my prehistorical system for the time being... Still have to wait a few more days for the new computer.

Read about the game, and it seems interesting enough to entice me to open my wallet. My only question is where did they get that name? The Department of Redundancy Department?

wow, that looks like a nice game. im not really into eye candy rpg style, so its nice somebody decided to make one for the more serious rpg gamer. ill be sure to check it out if it comes in spain, though id probably be better off trying to find it in amazonuk i think.
