This happens to me a lot, especially on weekends.

I start the game in the evening, with the lights turned down to get a fuller effect. I'm exploring daedric ruins, travelling to towns, doing little odds-and-ends quests, and eventually I become dimly aware that I've been playing for several hours and I should take a break.
Okay, I say, just let me finish up this one errand or travel to this one town, and I'll stop.
I honestly intend to get to a stopping point but there always seems to be just one more thing to wrap up before I stop and go do something else.

And then I notice that the ambient light in the room seems a little brighter.
I get up from the computer and look out the window and DAMN! The sun's coming up!
How did that happen?

Then I sleep 'til noon and get up and start the whole process over.

That is what happens to me on the weekends... I can't afford to pull alnighter during the week, due to having a slighly dangerous job during the day...

But sure enough on Friday night, after dinner is cooked, the kids are in bed, and the wife is upstairs doing here work, I am in front of the computer playing one of several games... Generally till the wee hours of the morning... Grab a coupla hours of shut eye, the start all over on Saturday morning, stopping only for occasional breaks to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the family...

My kids entertain themselves during the day, with a minimum of distractions from the wife and kids untill later in the evening...

It works out pretty well, since I detest going outside on the weekends, due to the fact that I am in the elements all day long during the week... Hell, I actually do rain dances on Friday in order to have an excuse to stay inside and play games all day long... It seems to work, for it has been raining for the past coupla weeks here in Texas...
