Is there something that needs to be done to get Azura's Star to work? I have it in my inventory but it never seems to fill up with a soul - I also have empty Common and Grand soul gems in my inventory and sometimes when I kill enemies (I have a Soul Trap-equipped sword) I get a message saying "there is no Soul Gem in your inventory large enough to capture the trapped soul". What does this mean?

You're probably trying to capture the soul of a humanoid, you need black soul gems for that.
And you can't get a black Azura's Star if you were wondering. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Put a grand soul gem at a necromancer altar and pray at it.

Don't get caught wity black soul gems on you while at the arcane University you can be ejected from the
Mage guild.
