[OBV]Can't Get Into Arena

OK, I have managed to get to the starting area to compete in the arena. I have talked to Owen (SP?) and he gave me the gladiator outfit. I put it on and went back and asked to compete and he told me that I wasn't ready and didn't even have my gladiator armor on. I am level 22 warrior, so started a new one...didn't work at level 1, or level 3, or 4. even tried naked except the gladiator suite...tried switching to one inthe chest, still not able to compete...am I missing something?

Weird glitch. Are you on PC or 360?

thot at first it was because my char had Umbra, but that didn't make a diff.

is there some kind of level req?

If you are female they won't let you compete. Something about woman's place being in the pantry and not the ring.

Just kidding, I have heard of this bug once but never got wind of a fix. You could try the official Oblivion forums for more help but beyond this I can't say...

OK, here is what happened. I had the mod on that allows you to take armor and weapons from the arena and could not get into the arena for the first fight. I removed the mod got to the arena and then saved. Added back the mod and everything works ok....haven't gotten much in the way of really cool stuff so not sure it was even worth it.

that Mod isn't worth it because once you become the grand Chsmpion you can keep everything and the few Items droped before then arn't worth much.
