I have a small problem... well actually a big one, I did the Aleswell quest, were all the inhabitants are invisible, I went and met the damn mage, after some presuasion he gave me a scroll, I cast it in town, and sure enough everyone became visible, then as I was leaving town, I noticed my Luck attribute was down to 3!
![]() The only effect it seems to have on my character is that it's almost impossible to open locks. So is it possible to restore my luck to it's former glory (well 45) or will I just have to live with it... or if I go back and kill that wizard will the effect be reversed... but won't the townfolk go invisible again... I've done that quest and never noticed a change in my luck. I was wondering what he was babbling about when he said "never mind..." Anyway, if it was caused by the scroll, it may not be a permanent "damage" type effect. Check your active effects list in the magic submenu to see if a drain luck effect is active. If it is a damage effect, you can drink restore potions or visit aedra shrines to restore your attributes.
*Edit: FYI, drain = temporary, damage = permanent. [ 04-09-2006, 08:05 AM: Message edited by: Sever ]

Just like in Morrowind there are several "restore attribute" spells for sale, all you have to do is find the person who sells them to you. Either that, or you can get your attributes restored in a church, by clicking on the altar.

minor spoiler! -
Try to get your disposition with the mage up (to 60 or 70 not sure) and talk to him, after you got the scroll from him again, about the reverse invisibility scroll. He will start about the spell having some effects and that he always uses some ring he makes himself. He will give you a ring which you should put on when you use the scroll.
