Hello, I was wondering if someone could tell Me how well I could run this game on full settings, I've never had any problems running any other games on highest, just thought I'd ask because this game is supposed to be so high end. I have two Intel Pentium4 3.40GHz processors, a little over 2.0GB of DDR 400 Kingston RAM, and a Radeon 9800XT, also I plan on buying the Nvidia 7800 AGP OC in a month or so. Thanks in advance.

Welcome. It should run okay for now, you will have to have some settings on low and medium but I'd say it would be playable. The big improvement will come when you upgrade your card but the 98 pro can still handle quite a bit not sure specifically about the XT.

Ok cool, do You think I could run it smoothly without AA and low shadows at 1280x1024?

I don't know how to judge this in respect to your system, but I have (a single) slightly slower processor, half the RAM but a better card (ATI X1600), and I can run 1280x1024 at full aliasing with all options on high at over 25 FPS. If I do HDR (no antialiasing), only the most intensive graphic scenes take me under 20 FPS at 1600x1200, which is my monitor's max resolution.

ATI 9800 will be lowish to mid settings, keep shadows off. As for the 7800 it will detect and run at ultra high res. You may want to turn off self shadowing as the effect looks screwy on all systems, and the FPS boost will be noticable.
I run this game using two 7800GTXs in SLI from BFG. I turned off SLI and its still playable with my settings. And I play at 1600x1200, with ini tweaks. |

2.53 ghz P4 1024 mb ram ati x700, 256mb, omega drivers sound audigy the game auto-chose the barest minimum settings for me to run oblivion. i went in and changed everything to the highest settings and it runs perfectly, except vsync... when it's on, i can't play at any setting. V***V
