I'm talking about combat action while in the presence of allied troops. During the siege of castle Kvath, i was casting fireballs at the scamps inside, when suddenly one of those stupid Imperials jumped in my line of fire, and i accidentally killed him. My infamy rating immediately went up a few points, and there was a 3000 Septims bounty on my head. Needless to say i got arrested after running into the first guard i encountered on my way back with Martin, but what disturbed me most that some of my major skills dropped several points, all because after all these years, Bethesda's people still haven't figured out to find a decent balance for combat while in a party.
![]() So far for improved AI. Maybe i'll give up my career as a Battlemage altogether, and become some kind of troubadour, i found a pair of blue suede shoes in catle Kvath to help me on my way.

Yea I ran into that too and figured it was the same here.. Thats why I've focused mainly on touch spells.

I loved Thief I and II,.. but in Oblivion, the way they handle stolen things is stupid IMO. Like if I steal an apple, ALL THE MERCHANTS would know I stole it, even when I took it at 4am when no one was around.. Its like some satellite is in orbit watching me, and telling everyone what I did.
Its just dumb. I mean, for heirlooms, I can see people knowing something is stolen, but simple crap? come on. It impedes thieves big-time. If they used the sneak and stealing features in thief I and II, it would have been better. [ 03-25-2006, 04:53 PM: Message edited by: Ziroc ] |

Ah, Thief 3 was ok, but the engine didn't do half what the older engines did. LOL. And the levels were HUGE! Rope arrows, ect.. just seemed consoled to me.
