Whoa! I missed the Underwater City!

I went through the portal from Spellhold to the Underdark. I've cleaned out the Mindflayers, Beholders, etc. Just visited the Silver Dragon, but I can't find the entrance to the Drow City. Searching in this forum, I realized I MISSED the Underwater City.
1. Can I get to the Underwater City now, before visiting the Drow?
2. Where IS the entrance to the Drow City? I saw a map that showed the entrance at the dead-end tunnel just passed the cavern I closed up for the Dwarves, but I can't find an opening there. The back door at the lower level is locked, and I can't get in that way.

1. No u cant go back... next time you play exit the way you cam from spellhold and take the boat with Saemon Havarian, then you will get to the inderwatewr city
2. I never found the drow city the first time I played.... there IS a shortcut to getting out.... but the drow city is across the bridge from Adalons cave... keep going up once over the bridge and you should get to the gates

Unless you're halberd happy , the only main treasure in teh underwater city is a cloak of reflection that makes you immune to spell damage, so I woldn't worry about it. Its a relatively small area and you odn't really level up in it
