Hey ya'll, Let's talk about SNES games. What are your favorite and why?
I've been playing some and want to expand my selection. I love the Uncharted Waters games. Sailing around, trading, explring and waging ship battles. The New Horizons game has alot of my time lately. I also just got Shadowrun, based on the RPG gameworld. Cool RPG style game. I've only played a little but really dig it. Super Mario Kart, the first Kart game and maybe the best. Huge two player battle levels and great tracks. Nothing like it on the SNES and I love it. Super Street Fighter. One of those old-school favorites. Better than wasting quarters at the arcade was playing it on the SNES.

Final Fantasy Six is at the top. I also enjoyed... Well, let's not say "enjoyed" when the proper phrase is "I was addicted to" Eye of the Beholder. Anyone remember that? I couldn't stop playing that one until I beat it. I also liked Secret of Mana, The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past, and Super Metroid.

Yeah Chrono Trigger! I got that to play yet.
Eye of the Beholder is one that missed my first list. I'm a sucker for early edition D&D. I'm gonna look for alot of the games mentioned!

Good to hear some SNES fans reminiscing - my collection of games is still growing since I never had one back in the day.
Donkey Kong Country I and II have been huge family favourites over the past few years. Still haven't completed II yet, as there's some nasty jumps to be made in one of the later levels. Fuzzy sweet soundtracks to them aswell. I hope to track down the third one too, even if its not meant to be as good! I was addicted to Super Castlevania IV after buying it second hand a few months ago. I never really stopped until I completed both the original on the NES and IV. I also fanatically played Eye of the Beholder (without mapping!) only that was on PC. Was there much difference to those who have played them both? I'd love to see the SNES versions of other PC rpgs I've played too like Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra. A Couple of other favourites: Street Fighter II (the original!) Nigel Mansell (played it with my uncle who got addicted) Needless to say, my snes collection is still expanding.... Yuletide Cheers, CerebroDragon
