I always combine Hound Meat and Scuttle to make potions that Restore AND Fortify Fatigue. Those are pretty good. The rest of my Restore Fatigue potions are made from Hound Meat, Scuttle, Saltrice, Kwama Eggs and Crab Meat in various combinations. Potions made with Large Kwama Eggs weigh more than the others, BTW, so if encumbrance is an issue, you should sell/use those first.
My other favoured recipes are Marshmerrow + Corkbulb Root = Restore Health Saltrice + Stoneflower = Fortify Magicka Coda Flower + Trama Root + Racer Plumes = Levitate Alit Hide + Scuttle + Bonemeal = Telekinesis

There are trucks of recipes. I have found more than 18 000 good recipes, that means, recipes without adverse effects. From these recipes, I have created a Vademecum with more than 1000 recipes, which I have considered somehow useful. If you want it, then send me a mail. Specify, whether you want a .txt or a M$ Word .doc

This is might be a little boring and/or cheesy, but there's a nice and easy way to make some $$ and raise your alchemy skill in the process.
Head over to Wolverine Hall (use the teleporter services in the Mage Guild) and go to the temple section (one level down from the mage guild). The guy in the red robe contains the components to create a fortify intelligence potion and he has an endless supply of it. So you purchase 20 of each, for example, and start making the potion. Drink all of them. Buy more components and make more potions then drink them. You'll note that each set of potions will be progressively better since you're increasing your intelligence which is a governing attribute for the alchemy skill. If you're patient you can eventually make potions that are worth several thousand and also will last for a VERY long time not to mention boost your intelligence very high. When your intelligence is very high you can make other potions that will be very potent such as restore fatigue or health. One type of potion that I'd stay away from making is the fortify personality. I did that by mistake and, of course, drank them which was very usefull at first. Once the effects of the potion wore out, many (not all) people didn't like me. They're reaction towards me was ZERO. I learned my lesson there.

I found a new recipe I quite like: Crab Meat + Scrap Metal = Lightning Shield + Resist Shock.

If you like the potion then know that you can add many ingredients to these two ones and get potions Ligtning Shield + Resist Shock + additional effects. In fact, you can add any two ingredients, which form a potion. In most cases, the adverse effects of your potions will be the same as the adverse effects of the "added potion". Therefore, if you "add" a pure potion then you get a pure potion (that means, a potion without adverse effects.
A similar possibility offers the Fortify Fatigue + Restore Fatigue potion (any two ingredients of Hound Meat, Scrib Jerky, Scuttle)

Always keep some Bonemeal and Scuttle on you. Why? Because you can brew a telekinis potion which is essential for stealing the best goods in the game (or buy a spell, either one is good). Trust me, with telekinis there is no stopping your Kleptomaniac ways.

and select "Scan for effect". I only made it for regular ESIII so there is no BM/Trib ingredients. Sorry.
