I agree with Harkoliar. Although I am looking forward to get this game the sheer complexity of this game is quite scary. Imagine having to manage things like HFOG and stuff. Man, I just want to build up a powerful armada and conquer the damn galaxy! I don't want to be a politician and deals with all these economics and social mumbo jumbo.

Yea the political part will likely be my downfall. As many of you know diplomacy is not my strong point But I guess we'll get used to it And perhaps we'll play it online and bomb each others planets into radioactive heaps of slag also I hope its like moo 1 where you could build massive fleets though. It was great fun sending 20,000 ships into battle!

MOO2 was simply great. Great atmosphere, music, design etc. Let´s just hope that they keep the part 3 simple enough. Politics isn´t necessarily a bad thing.. because in a way the game is like Civilization, and what would Civ be without diplomacy..

Thr fact they wiggled it about added to the scaele of its power. I destroyed Orion with one, to stop a friend getting it.

The politics couldn't be much harder than a cross of MOO2 and Medieval/Shogun. Hopefully.
