I am looking for some tatics on playing. Every time I play I get killed. I like to play the undead. Do you think I should try A different race?

Is there any building tatics that you use that would help me out. I think I need to start having two gold mines on the go maybe this will help out?

I am at a lost.

What units do you build and what hero do you get? I tend to get either the Death Knight or the Dread Lord and ghouls for creeping. Later on mass gargoyles or necros works wonders especially in allied games. What types of games do you play? SOlo, 2 vs. 2 etc.? If you play large games like 4 vs. 4 your original golkd mine will probably be enough because those games are quick. If you're consantly running out of gold you should get more mines. Remember to upgrade your guys and build towers. Have you beaten the game yet or tried any othere races? I prefer using Orcs or Humans.

I have now switched over to the humans it is a little easier to play with and one feature I forgot to use is the save re-play the is a knowledge of wealth.
For the human I get the arch mage then the dwarf now. And I have figured out that creeping is a good thing. And setting rally flags. The only thing that I find hard now is knowing were the creeps are but that will come in time.

Is there any commands out there that will make gameplay easier. Any tips on that would be nice.

So when I build the human race I make some more workers atleast 3 to 4 to get things rolling and one builds the alter and then the first one that pops out builds the baracks and after the alter is built he builds a farm. When the hero gets out I send him out with some footmen and search for creeps. As the footmen pop out they rally to the hero and they keep creeping. Then I upgrade to hte keep and then build the wizard army up.

You think this is a good way to start?

Mack, play only against the CPU, until you've developed a strategy of your own. You can't beat experienced players if you don't have a plan. Unless you like to get your ass whooped all the time.

Good point but I do not have a problem with the CPU in the normal game. The thing with battle.net the playing style is very different. But never fear johnny I am getting better and I have a few wins but against other newb's.

They keep track of your wins on solo and there some ladder thing that keeps track of wins and losses and you can gain EXP. from this.
