Fighters guild problem (spoiler)

all right, so I'm off to kill Eydis Fire-Eye and the orc in the Vivec guild, the orc is no problem but when I'm off to kill Eydis and start beating her the whole guild attacks me... and since Hasphat Antabolis is there, it gets quite doomy... And yes, I let her beat me first

... Any suggestions?

i think but i don't remember u r suppoosed to say orders or fighters guild and she will attack u well at least theat is waht i think i remember

I had the same problem (bug ?) with her, even after talking with her and even if she attacks me first I still got the whole guild go hostile on me not to mention being expelled from it.

Solution: Cast calm humanoid on her, then talk to her and taunt her. There's probably some easier way but that's all I could come up with at that time.

Same problem too. I restarted the PC and it worked as expected.

When it works right: I walk in the door. I do not even initiate conversation because she does. My only option is click on the red lettered "Goodbye". She attacks. I kill her. Quest done.

PS: The PC restart also works when I try and use a 100pt Open scroll. If it does not work, I restart the PC and it works... go figure...

How do you restart a player character. Do you mean you start the game all over with a 1st level character? Isn't that a time consuming solution to your problem?

I expect PC stands for Personal Computer not Player Character, this time

Gee-heez! I just tried that quest in the X-box version and the same bug came up... Maybe you're not supposed to kill her and rather uh... negotiate something... err... oh well, I suppose things could be worse than being thrown out of the fighters guild... (mages guild *gulp*)

There is a way to beat the quest with out killing her. You need to be a theives guild member. They found some dirt on her private life ... recover and present an artifact to her proving that she worships BAD dudes and bribe her to support the cause of killing Hardheart.
