I am relativly new to the game, and trying to figur out whats the most fun to play. Scout or Spellsword? Also, what races would go best with these classes?

well isnt a scout proficient in marksmanship?so i am guessing a scout would be a good thief fighter kit. a spellsword is just that mage/fighter so pick your skills accordingly. but when just starting the game it would probably be easier to learn and understand by picking a single character type.when i first played i had a mix of the 3 wasnt a very powerful char in any class and was generally weak. it was a char that should of been played byu an advanced player. i then switched to a mage char solely. then from there i am doing a fighter/mage kit(crusader not spellsword).

If you don't know which to go try custom built your charcter. that way you can decide which skill is usefull for you.

if you think you goof up with your character, you can always start a new game.

My vote definetly goes to Spellsword, tho you might want to pick Light Armor instead of Medium Armor.

As far as race is concerned you could pick Breton or Red Guard, depending on wether you would like to start up with bonuses in some magic schools or in combat. They both have very good innate powers and abilities.

Dreamer, match the best stats with what you get the most benefit from concerning that class.
Mybe try both and drop one along the way
