Stuck in the temple of Isis

I have the ashes and have placed them on the altar and have placed the baboon thing-a-majig on
the marble platform. I have talked to Kerah about restoring Anephas (and now the pillar no longer
moves, so I can't go back there - hope I don't need to) and know about the 'light'. I know what
I am supposed to do, but do not know how to redirect the light? (Is there something I shoould
place on the light predestal to get this going? What about all those things in the floor?)

Did you get the little light icon from the portal near Kerah? If not you need to reload and get it. Remember the room in the temple where the light beam is shining down? There are larger things that look like the light icon which can be carried even though the icon/reticule doesn't indicate it. And there is another exit from the temple once you restore Anephas (a door that wouldn't open before...). Also, if you want to solve the leprechaun quest, you will need to explore the area outside/above Kerah's temple.
