I found a bug in ToB. Actually, I was playing SoA, but have ToB installed.

Normally, most monsters won't follow you out of an area and into another, except for a few, and depending on the area. eg. The lich guarding Daystar will follow you out of that room and into the tavern or even onto the streets.

With ToB installed, even the lich won't follow. "O.K." I tell myself, "Now this is just WAY too easy."

BIG PROBLEM!!! In the dream sequence where you have to defeat Bhaal with "Imoen" in the room, Bhaal won't follow me inside the building!! Now I can't proceed in the game!! SHIST!! I REEEEAALLY want to get SoA finished(again) so I can finally start ToB, but I don't want to start ToB until SoA is done. (I just have to play it all the way through beginning to end).

WHAT TO DO??!!!

go back out, try to get him closer. that should work, if not then its a bug, and a big one too.

You may want to report that to Bioware, Dutka. That one's a doozer! Surely they must've thought of that, though.

I've been playing a solo sorcerer from the beginning with the beta patch (no Baldurdash fixes), and noticed that some of monsters that follow into other areas you won't register as "dead" after you kill them outside of their spawn point. For instance, the two thugs just outside of the Copper Coronet (beginning of game) that tell you to get out of the way; I attack them with Minute Meteors until one is almost dead, and then lead them into the Coronet to finish them off with spells. I kill them, go outside, and they are still there at the same levels of health that they were before! The same thing happened in the Graveyard with some Shadows. If you kill them in the area that they are in, they stay dead. Not a huge bug, but a tad bit annoying...

With this ToB installation bug you kill the Lich in the City Gates as many times as you want and have fun and level up. You can get two or more celestial furies if you want, this way. If you don't want two of everything, don't flee.

But this is not the worst bug in ToB. There are bugs with the Quick Saving feature and you are recommended not to use that one. If you screw up your game because of such a bug, THAT is annoying!

ugh, once i wound up fighting about 15 Rayic Getheras's at the same time! considering i was a rather low-level party just looking to get my stronghold, it was rather overwhelming for me.thats quite an annoying bug i must say.

I'm just now starting over with SoA from the beginning (first time through from the beginning with ToB) so I haven't got there yet. I bet you could solve your problem by spawing Bhaal with the CLUA console after you walk back inside to Imoen. I don't know his code, but it might be like:

CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Bhaal")

I fixed a bug with the tavern guy not going back home in the desert city this way, Marlowe?

why the pp, I don't know.
I did e-mail bioware on this and sent him a save game from before ToB, and a save game from after ToB. Nathan from BioWare will let me know what he finds, and then I'll post it here.
