Every time I enter the slums I'm surrounded by messengers from Aerie's Uncle Quayle, although i have already done that quest.
More and more keep showing up - about 60 now. I suppose I could just dump Aerie before I enter the slums but anyone have another idea. Although it is quite an amusing sight, being surrounded and unable to move is, to say the least, annoying.

try reloading from before the first messenger came? that might fix it
