You take snapshots with Print Screen. Duh.

Umar Hills is as hard as you make it. You've got a difficulty control. Set it however you want.

Ditto, vampires. It depends on your party, your spells and weapons.

If you really want all the little detailed answers, I think you're not going to play a game, but simply follow a schematic. But if that's what you want, look at Dan Simpson's walkthrough upon at http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/

1. Press the 'Print Screen'-button on your keyboard
2. In my opinion, the Umar Hills is one of the easiest quests through the game
3. I think the vampires are a pain in the a**. But not if you are an Undead Hunter.
4. Are you talking about the big head?

see ya!

1. dunno for macs. my pc keyboard has a printscreen key on it and I smply hit it when I want to take a SS(screenshot). Then I alt-tab my way out of the game when it's paused to paste the screenshot into paint( a pc program). Save it under a name and go back to game.

2.Umar Hills or the Temple Ruins? Umar is easy. Temple Ruins is somewhat easy but my party just got done with Firkraag. My bounty hunter is lvl 13 now and still in chapter two. I am being selective where I want to go and so far so good. I met a pack of wolves in Umar Hills and it's nothing compared to what you will see in the Temple Ruins. If you meant this place however, it's easy with a cleric turning undead. Lucky me, I have two clerics turning undead when I am bored or don't want to melee. Of course, ya can't use it all throughout.

3. Some vampires pose problems but again...I've been selective with my battles( at first, I made sure to stay indoors at night in the city). I've searched around doing the odd quests to gain levels. I have't even done Nalia's Keep yet nor my stronghold quest. Something about siding with the thieves that puts me against the vampires is making me not go right now. I also tried Nalia's Keep a few days after I bought the game. I didn't like it. Bit boring and hate regenerating creatures like vampires.

Vampires used to be unkillable for my party. Now they are easy. I bought enough equipment to make a difference. In some fights, I obliterate the vampires while others I turn them into smoke. You will get there if you do the easier quests and gauge your progress. There are also plenty of weapons capable of adding extra dmg to undead/demons and all that. For level drain, I mem lesser restoration with Anomen. I normally can sleep of stat drains. Oh and I don't run scripts. I micro manage each guy. It can be a pain when I'm facing a group of 8-10 crap npcs but other times I like to have full control with pausing between my commands.

4. If you are referring to the head in the lil dungeon area in the Temple Ruins, I recommend you trying to use spell buffs ...something like a spell deflection buff and going for the riddle. Jot down the right lines and the wrong ones. I'm at that point and solved the first set. I think you will need to progress further to get more information to the riddle( I may be wrong here...iIjust kept getting zapped and got tired and logged off after 15 min later). If you have solved the first part, try going back to where the blue "door" is. I'm in that area now. Dunno what else is there except that some items are in the lava and you will see more undead. The bigger they are it seems the tougher it is to turn em. Blasted fire dealt no dmg to me but sure did slow me down for the undead to kill me. Bah, vengeance will be mine today or mebbe later on today.

Last night I was also going thru shadowkeeper to look at my character stats and to see if there is a paladin available for me to play: I don't have one yet and those who know I got thru with Firkraag should know why( one nice item). There is a paladin for me to choose, now to find em. But well, I also found the dialogue section. I think EVERYTHING is there. I found cheesy romance parts and saw how it broke the dialogue tree down. If you spend enough time there, you will find your answer. I still haven't figured it out so besides pointing you to shadowkeeper, not much else. But the answer is there.

Hope that helps in some small way. And just be careful with, as the person said above, following a scheme. If you are seriously stuck in an area, then I don't mind helping as best I can...but I wouldn't wanna spoil the game for you just as much as I wouldn't want anyone else spoiling the game for me. G'luck.
