As far as I know it's a room at the Radiant Heart, to initiate the quests to get your stronghold I think you have to chat with the main paladin guy there, no idea what the quests themselves are.

Hmm, I think your BG2-skills are getting at bit rusty, Neb. He is raight, you do get a room at the Order of the Radiant Heart.
But to start it, you must first do the Firkragg-quest, and then go and talk to Prelate Wessalem at the Order, and he will ask you to join the Order. see ya! |

You're BOTH right... Sorta.
I believe there is a full list of the stronghold quests in detail on the main Ironworks BGII site. SPOILER . . . . . . . . . Yes you need to do the Firkraag (sp) quest. But you can't kill him! The guy you save sends you to the Radiant Heart and they have you do a bunch of li'l quests to prove your worth... and THEN you kill the big bad Red Dragon and get to keep the Holy Avenger to use in the Radiant Heart's name. You also get a whole room for yourself... Wow. END SPOILER I couldn't figure which one was mine since it seems that you're not allowed to sleep in ANY of them... I guess you don't become a knight for your ego... Unless you're Anomen that is.  -R

That's right, hte sleeping thing is a bug. If you download one of the later patches it should be helped (except for the fact that you can then sleep in every room there and still won't know which one's yours
