Is this a bug?

I am encounting a strange bug each time I start a new game, after a small cutscene between you and Irencius and after Imoen sets you free, I rest each time I do I'm not getting a "You got some courage to sleep" kind of message, also each time Brus (or whatever that kid's name is) approaches me and I agreed to let him take me to the copper cornet and each time that happens Jaheria remain silent, shes not saying the "Where to now fearless leader" message, This same problem also occured after I make my appearence in the 2nd floor at the tanner's house, Aerie was suppose to be saying the "What awful smell!" message but she didn't.

I would like an explanation here.

WHo knows, but good question. Check the sound files in the folders, but i am no good at technical stuff. HMMm, there could be a file error check it out dude!

Did you install any patches onto the game other than the official ones? That would be the most likely cause of something like that.

Thanks for your help guys, what I had to do was reinstall the game .
