i have all the documents from bloodsclalp, but they guy at the door wont let me in, Help greatly appreciated.......oh i also killed the monsters in the house like he wanted.

you're not trying to get into the big orange building in the south-west corner are you ? That's the Harpers headquarters. They give you a quest to wipe some monsters out before they let you in, but their quests aren't related to the thieves quild at all. Mae'Var's place is a couple of doors to the east of the Sea's Bounty. Enter and talk to the guy behind the bar. Kez |

I encountered a similar bug here. I talked to the bartender (the right one not in the Sea Bounty Tavern) 2 or 3 times and he won´t let me in. After resting I decided to have a last try and talked to him again - and suddenly no problem at all anymore. He let me in and the quest continued without further problems ...

Its in the seas bounty pub, i dont think that there is a guard there but you have to say the right things to the bartender to get in. Maevar is downstairs in the cellar.
