I need a theif in my party and at the moment I have yoshimo but we all know what happens to him. Who is the best npc theif to have in your party except him,( will probably stick with yoshi and then get this other npc)

after yosimo dies just re spawn him useing the CLUA console and the tag "yoshi12" you will have to do it a few times , but it will work !!! ALL of the other alleged "thief" npc's in the game just SUCK !!!!!!

"I think the best NPC thief is Imoen or Nalia,
and they also have the ability of spellcasting. You could use thier spellcasting to your advantage." ~After those brief words Lazarus turns around and walks away... ------------------ Lay down thine hammer, friend, lay down thine awl. Thy yesteryear trappings are splintered and old. Now rise up thine mace and sword! and thusly brandish. The builder fuels those who unite against malice. -Lazarus |

Nalia is a good thief? Being that she dualed at level 3, she couldn't even pick her nose, nevermind a lock.

The best thief in the game, except yoshi, is Jan. While he is a multi and not dual, he will contunue to advance as a thief, not just as mage.

Jan is definatly better thief than nalia (as someone else already stated she has just enough thief skills to be dangerous to the party. heh you THINK you are safe from traps since she is searching for them...). Imoen is passable.
Jan has great adventuring skills, he just lacks the combat thief type of stuff (he isn't really fantastic at sending in for backstabs etc). Besides Jan is just too much fun not to have in your group ![]() |

Yep, get Jan, he is an amusing fellow to have around.
Good thief, once you get his pick locks and find/remove traps over 100 percent try adding points to set trap because he can always cast invisibility if you need him stealthy. |
