Best lvl to dual a kensai

I am currently working on a Kensai/Thief for use in Tob but im not yet sure at what level to dual. Any suggestions?

Actually I've been wondering the same thing. I plan on dualling a Kensai to mage in my next game and wondered what level works best (# of attacks & proficiency, etc)

I did it at level 9, its a kick-ass combo

yep, level 9 is perfect. You got your last "14" HP's (after this level you will gain 1 hp only)

level 9 is perfect if you are just playing SoA. Lots enough power to take care of Irenicus and his minions. But not enough to be very powerful in ToB

If you have TOB installed (or are planning to play TOB as well), then your max exp. points are 8 mil. Dualing at a lesser (level 9) level wastes a lot of exp. points on your mage (the spec. abilities, (spells that fit in your level 9 casting slot but are level 10), above 3 mil. are few).

500k exp. points level 10
750k exp. points level 11
1mil exp. points level 12
with a continuing 250k continuing for each level.

Kai 1st=1th (level), 2nd=5th, 3rd=9th, 4th=13th, 5th=17th.
Combat bonuses 1st=4th (level), 2nd=8th, 3rd=12th, 4th=16th.
Speed factor increase 1st=5th (level), 2nd=10th, 3rd=15th.
Last attacks per round increase 13th.
Last HP bonus 9th.

Highest correlation w/ minimum point expenditure = 13th or 1.25 mil

This exp. point amount isn't so high that it takes for EVER to return back

(NOTE: I'm not sure when the wepons prof.s, or THAC0 increases are so this might determine something other than 13. Hint, Hint - someone else needs to do some input here.)

What's the thaco per level difference with Fighter, Thief, mage and cleric?

I was pretty sure that combat bonuses for the kensai were every 3 levels?
