From SoA to TOB

When I transfer my party to ToB, will I lose all my gold or inventory items?? Is it a good idea to sell items to gain gold? Or they are transferred with all their items inventory etc

my sorcerer died in hell and i lost all my stuff because Irenicus died so fast
