If i starts a game online can i se if he or she has used the Shadow Keeper to create thay characters or do i have to trust that she/he is honest.

You're referring to PKs of course. The lowest form of on-line gaming life. Some times people come out with hack programs that warn you when someone has stats way outside the limits. I don't know about BG2 though. The best thing is to keep a backup of your char. and report PKs to the service provider. Enough complaints will shut down an account.

What are you talking about, man? That makes absolutely no sense. BGII isn't a MMORPG; all the servers are player-run, hence the admins can do what they want, when they want and how they want. No ISP cares about what people do in online games in SERVERS THEY CREATED.

In response to the original poster:

The easiest way woud be to just click on their portraits in the 'lobby' and look at their stats and weapons. An even easier way would be to not join open servers, because they all suck. Finding a group serious about roleplaying is best, but is also very difficult.
