The only scrolls I can find, are for Magic users or it won't let me write them down (I have a high Intelligence and wisdom too) 2.How on Earth..err Fogotten Realms, do I get to Baldur's Gate? I finished all of the map below and cannot get around or over the bridge? Forever in your debt, Forseti "My forest for a Nymph!" |

the way rangers get known spells is the same way that a priest gets them, except later on (about 8th level i think). the spells that you know are put in your priest spell bookwhen you reach the appropriate level. rangers, like priests, cannot add spells to their spellbook. they can use a spell in the quick item slots, as priests can, if you should find the scroll of a priest spell. but neither rangers nor priests can "write magic" as mages can. and as for your question about baldur's gate, what do you mean you cant get over the bridge ? r u talking about the one with the bard near the middle of it ? or a different one ? there is no blockade, u shouldnt have a problem. keep searching and u shall prevail .

Minor Spoiler !
Rangers start gaining priest spells only from level 9 on, so they won't in BG I/TotSC. Your question is how to select spells from the right side of the priest's spellscroll, so they will fill the slots on the left side ? Just left-click the one you want to select on the right hand side. Right-clicking will give you the spell description, btw. You can cannot enter Baldur's Gate before chapter five, thus before you have reached a certain point in the main plotline. Does the name "Cloakwood Forest" sound familiar to you ? And it is a big forest, so big it won't fit on one single map. Still certain you have been everywhere ? ![]() Tell us if you want to be spoilt more openly. ![]() ------------------ So long ! Have you finished the cloakwood mine? At the last battle in the mine(level 4 I think) when you have defeated the boss there, you find a scroll, you read that I sudenly "poff" you can enter Baldurs gate, the bridge is down so you can go over it!
