What did I do wrong?
I made it through BGII and had Aerie and Jahiera with me the entire time and never got so much as a pinch of romance with either of them?!? My character is neutral good and my rep was around 18 the entire time. I never killed a peasant or anything, but there was NO romance? Is there something in particular that I should have done? Going to play it again to see if I can get something going..... oh, I did sleep with the woman in the copper coronet.....is that bad? ------------------  Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig |

What are half-orcs good for?
They are not exactly over-whelmingly good and are horrible role players. HALF-ORC Babbarian...AHJSHiu|HsiUHSoiSHpdsjpajd that's how they speak isn't it...no wonder you got 0 romance. |

The Romance will only happen id you are Human, Elf, or Half-Elf.

Oh well, I guess I will have to play it through again
The only reason I choose a half-orc is b/c I wanted to play a fighter and half-orcs have a max STR of 19. I didn't know anything about romance crap at the time. ------------------ Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig |

You can be a gnome too, black isle intended for it to be possible to have a romance with a half-orc with Viconia. Baldurash has a patch that allows any race to have a romance.

Take a human with str of 18 thru BG1 and you will legally receive a +1 to str bringing your human PC to a 19 str.
