Berserker, b/c they ccan make themselves completely immune to the UBER-CHEESY spell Imprisonment! Plus dwarven battleragers are greatttttt!!!
GO DWARVES GO! P.S. Check the thread below entitled: "VOLOURN HONOURBLADE". I loveto promote myself!... Heheh! ------------------ "That didn't hurt!" - Volourn Honourblade after the red dragon breathed on him for 75% of his hp. |

Kensai, IMHO. Dual-wield and mastery makes them very lethal with their attacks per round and Kai ability.

I prefer the Berserker for a straight fighter, Kensai for Dual-Class combinations.

Berserker.. I am one!!!!
------------------ In the foul darkness one figure will emerge to save the world from evil and despair.... Light flashes as his sword comes down, and thunder rolls through the sky when he points his sword up to heaven to signal his victory....People whisper his name as he walks by, evil tries to hide as they sense his presence nearby.... His name? Link...... |

Yep, Id have to say for a pure fighter, I'd go with the beserker. If you are going to dual class, beserker/kensai/fighter are all great depending on what you are dual classing to, and what you want.
Kensai/mages are great offensive mages Fighter/mages are great defensive tank mages beserker/mages are good offense also, tailored to certain foes better because of there zerk immunities. Just depends on what you want. I had a pure fighter as my archer character, I wanted Grandmaster long bow coupled with the ability to wear full magical platemail. He used a longbow most of the time, and switched to Halbard for melee. He did real well. |

What about Wizard Slayers? I think they are cool, but not as much as Kensai.
