Has anyone been to the Black Isle Forum?

This shouldn't be here...but you learn quite a lot over there!
My god it's serious over there....definitely not for newbies.

i went there once but had not the courage to post anything, after examing it.

They're all powergamers. Nothing wrong with that, but after reading a few posts it seems that they don't know how to *enjoy* the game for what it is.

I've been a few times, it's full of idiots, spammers and trolls unfortunately. If you're willing to put up with all the BS you *might* pick up snippets of info here and there from the few people who actually know something. There's about 5% of useful info in about 95% of the crap.

Reminds me of BGDungeon right before the fall.

Yea, Poor BG Dungeon. Had so many idiots posting they finally closed it down due to idiocy.
Some places need to learn you need a guy who can ban idiot posters from the site Ive been on a couple boards where they can lock out your email address from posting, works wonders LOL.

I have seen them block entire subnets here when the person in question did not shape up. Three cheers for the moderators keeping Ironworks idiot free!
