BG2 install help

I have to re-install BG2 but can't properly un-install for some reason. Computer acting very funny.

My question is, what files do I need to keep except the obvious 'save' folder? I plan on just deleting the directory to see if that helps but I'm not optimistic.

The only file you need to keep is the save folder.
Can you be more specific about the "can,t un-install properly"
Although I may not be much help even with a better description of your systems problems, there are others here I am certain that could.

I think I've figured out what happened. I recently reinstalled Norton SystemWorks and apparently the WinDoctor can play havoc on BG. For some reason, I kept getting the install option when attempting to play. I found another post a while back which hinted toward Norton. Unfortunatley, it was too late for me and I had to re-install BG2. Fortunately, I didn't lose my game.
