Nalia's Thief Level??

I read somewhere that you lose the bounty hunter with thieving abilities some where in the middle of the game. So I picked up Nalia as a backup thief. But for some reason her thief exp never goes up. Why???

She is dual class thief/mage.
This means that at level 4 she stopped being a thief and became a mage. Now all her exp. go to her mage class, she will never advance as a thief.

Jan is a better thief (multi-class thief/mage, so will advance in both classes), but Nalia is a really good mage so worth having if you need a good aligned mage.

Nalia is 'Dual class' not 'multi',so she's stopped advancing as a thief but still has the skills.She's best seen as a mage who can use a sword and bow,and has some thieving skills.She'll make one of the best mages in the game though because she'll only advance in that class.Use the mercykiller ring(bonus CD merchant)and other items to boost her thieving stats'.

Easy one - she "dual classed", which means she STOPPED being a thief and continued her life as a mage - unlike MULTICLASS (anything other than humans) which can specialise in 2 or more classes e.g. - mage/thief

which means BOTH thief and mage levels will go up.
Still.............nalia's not bad, she has 80% find traps I think (that's pretty good)

Heehee....she is level 4 actually, but her skills as a mage (among other things) makes up for the low thief level... she is afterall a worthy good aligned mages.
