Ok, I have a question for anyone willing to answer. I've just created a Kit, when I go to create the new character in the kit everything works fine, except where the names are suppose to be. The kit name is some string that some one in the game says, and other similar things are screwy... I dont know how to edit the dialog.tlk and the Kitlist.2da correctly to show everything like it should be.. can someone help me out?

firstly have you got infinety engine editor pro?
then go to dialog.tlk editor. then go to write write the name of the kit in the large box then press write to dialog. it should give you a number (like 62223 or somthing large like that) write this down so you remmember it. then open kitlist.2da. there should be alot of things like this: 35 BARB_HUNTER 62237 62238 62239 CLABBH01 56 0x40000000 2 what you have to do is put that number you got for the first long number do another dialog.tlk file with the kit name fot the second long number and the kit description for the third long number that should make you're text work now please tell me if you get it to work (just because you've got me interested) |

Just some advice for those of you madly tinkering with 2da files. If you make a mistake, it can crash your game. Creating kits are a great way to customize the game. Just make sure you know what you're doing
