Screwed Up????

Left the pommel jewel, an Ankheg head and the ancient bow(without the string) at Cromwell, the Dwarven forgers house. Later on I returned with enough cash to make ankheg armor(5000gp) and these items were no longer on the floor. Is there anyway to get these items back once lost, and how important are they for later(mostly the Great Sword and the Great Bow). Also is there a good safe sanctuary to stash items without fear of losing them later (obviously Cromwells house isn't). Have many many many Super-Healing potions that are clogging things up and want to store them for later!

you can just store your good about ANYWHERE in the chest, that is if you dont trigger alarm. My personal favors are Dock District the box just beside the halfling merchant outside Harper's Building, the chest in the room behind (hmmm whats his name? the new owner of the place) at Copper Corrant, and the table just outside of Seven Dens of Vale.

if you leave your goods on the floor for too long, they disappear, so do not.

the shelves in the Adventurers Mart are a good place to store things.
